WhAt A wEeKeNd!!!

So lots of fun happened last weekend. It all started Friday...
I've had a cold that went away finally in Maine, then I come back and caught it again. So at work on Friday I was coughing a lot cuz of a tickle in my throat so they sent me home early. I was a little bugged cuz other girls have come with pink eye, shingles, and pig flu...but heaven forbid I have a cold. So I picked up Jaycee and we played all night. Craig came home from work saying he felt depressed. I offered us to go get drinks, but settled for Chick-Fil-A! Drown our sorrows in chicken! We ended up bumping into Kyle and Aimee and Clif & Kristen there. We decided to goof off at Shopko and ran into Dana there. I don't think that'll ever happen in Maine! We ended our night getting ice cream from Farr's for only $3.99 (it was their anniversary sale). By this time it was oh, 11:30 and I had rented New Moon and Craig said he'd watch it with me. I know..huh! Funny thing is, I fell asleep and he stayed up to watch it cuz he had to know how it ended! Too Funny!
Saturday morning we had a Yard Sale at our house. Man what a turn out. Aimee brought up a bunch of stuff and we put out just random things that we keep storing. Craig didn't think it was a good idea to put out our opened puppy pads or the Mayo! I can't see why not?! :) I guess that would look a little ghetto! We laughed so much and even started a tally of how many Hispanics came... I guess we do live in Ogden! We had a good turn out. Aimee made $65 and we scored $25. The rest went down to the DI.
At 3:30 we had an appointment for a couple to come look at our house...YAY!!! That was a dud! They walked through, really wanted it, said they could move in right away, and you'd think we'd say OK...NOPE! There were so many Red Flags and just felt shady about the whole thing. It would've been perfect, but maybe that was a test to see if we'd hold out faithful. Oh, the people only wanted to do a lease-to-own for 3 years then buy the house assuming their credit would be okay. Not such a good idea!
Later that night we treated some families to dinner at Boccias. I was so mad cuz while Craig was sitting next to me ranting at how good it tasted, I couldn't taste a thing...Dang Sinus Infection! Thank you Dad & Mom for picking us up from the airport, Thank you Phyllis & Larry for taking us to the airport and for doing our taxes, Thank you Dalynne & Justin for watching Jaycee while we were in Maine, and Thank you Aimee & Kyle for watching Jaycee and driving her to Dalynne's. That was the least we could do to show our thanks!
Well our weekend ended with Sunday. I was crying so much in church. Craig had to conduct the meeting and it was Fast Sunday, so he bore his testimony. It made me cry. Then we sang Abide With Me as the closing song, which made me cry even more! That night we had our last family party at Aaron's house to celebrate April birthdays and say good-bye to Dathan & Kel. They leave Tuesday for Boston. It was sad to think that was the last time in a really long time we'll all be together. I tried really hard not to shed tears and start sadness. Craig got some cool gifts. He got a cool pic of a coach w/football team, $20 Texas Roadhouse card, blanket that he loves!, shirt, and a book. When he got home he told me how grateful he was for my mom's time in making that blanket. Thank You MOM!!!! He really enjoyed all his gifts. Now I just have to go get a gift for him....ideas?....
Well that's the weekend in a nutshell. We love all of you! We thank all of you!

Each day gets closer...

So I gave our blog address to all the family, well what I have from facebook. I still need Larry & Phyllis, Don, Scott, Sheri, Carla, and Kenny email address or if any of you would spread the word. That's be appreciated!!!
We had a real estate agent come over last night and wants to sell our house and says he has clients that'd be interested. Personally, they are a joke. Realtor fees are outrageous!!! We're still hoping Kristal can buy our house now that her ex has signed the papers! Now just have to get her motorcycle sold, which is close, and the next step. But even if not Kristal, Craig and I have put faith in the Lord that'll he'll help. We don't know how, but everything is going to work out.
Tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! Hope everyone has some kind of fun plans. Craig and I have to go get some couches from Kel's and take to the DI for her. Being 7 months pregs, I don't think she'll be doing any lifting. Also this weekend is dreaded VERNAL!!! Only 2 more times of going. Can't wait for that to end! The good thing about Vernal is I give Craig a honey-do list and he's very productive. I only asked him to do one thing cuz he has lots of studying to do. Craig takes his PE test on Friday, April 16. GOOD LUCK HONEY. He has been waking up at 5 everyday to get to work early and study. Now that's dedication. On top of working 8 hours and only getting paid for 36 in the week, being a daddy, and doing his church calling...he's a busy man! The least I can do is keep the house clean, make dinners, and give him encouragement and loves! I'm lucky to be married to such a wonderful guy!
Well time for Bekin to come and give us an estimate on moving our stuff. Laters for now!

My productful day!

So this blogging thing is addicting. It's really late at night and I should be asleep considering I have to work tomorrow, but I'm not.
Today I had our first moving company call and set up an appointment to come over to do an estimate. That'd be #1 of 3 we have to get. Also I called about getting Izzy some meds for the 4-5 day trip in the car. The vet said to use Dramamine. So looks like my to-do list is getting a little smaller.
We found out Kel and Dathan got an offer on their house and countered back, and the people said ok. They close on April 19 which is the day we leave. Ironic. Congrats Dathan and Kellie! They truely are examples of taking a leap of faith. They knew they were moving and did all the things necessary without even having their house sold yet. What an example to Craig and I.
Craig officially sent in his offer letter today and talked to a guy at Kleinschmidt. So if all goes well, we leave bright and early Monday, April 19. I know once we leave Utah I'll probably cry, but I know this is what we are to be doing at this time in our life. I'm very grateful for the Lord's help and answered prayers!!!

Brand New

With the whole moving to Maine I promised a lot of people to keep in touch and make a blog. So here it goes...I'll have to play around with it more to get it organized and cute. That's all for now :)
