March 3 is coming up!

I still can't believe that on Thursday Jaycee turns 2! Where did time go? Seems like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant with her! I'm loving this age and the cute things she says. She is such a sweetheart and a good girl for mommy and daddy. This past weekend Dathan and Kel came up to hang out for the weekend and to have a birthday party. Since we don't live by all our family in Utah we decided to have our own birthday parties. On Saturday night we had a birthday celebration for Haylie (Feb 12), Jaycee (Mar 3), and Brayden (Mar 21). All the kids had such a fun time and was so hyper all weekend! With the weather being so snowy they all got stuck inside but Saturday it stopped so we got to go out and play for about an hour. They really needed some time to play with each other. We were sad to see them leave Sunday night, but grateful for the time we did get. I was so grateful they decided to come up even in the bad weather and take an extra hour of travel time. Hopefully the next couple weeks go fast so we can go down to their house :)

The girls' birthday cake I made. Haylie requested a princess cake so that's what she got.

Smile Birthday kids!

Singing Happy Birthday

Bray doesn't really like cake so for his birthday cake I made a brownie with cookie dough in it. It was so tasty.

Love this boy! I can't believe he's turning 8 in a couple weeks!

My little birthday girl! Love you Jaycee LeeAnn

I don't even want to know....he he
I love my brother and his wifey who is practically my sister!
Kamryn being bashful. Poor little girl is cutting a tooth so her nose was all raw. I felt so bad. But she was happy as ever all weekend

Craig! This is his excited face about getting a break on a Sunday.

Isn't she such a pretty baby. She didn't care at all that I smooched on her all weekend.

Jaycee was obsessed with Kami. She loved playing with her and always wanted to hold her.

Playing on her bike in a dress. That's my girl!

Jaycee's lovely morning self. She loved her present Brayden got her. The first thing she said when she woke up was Pony.

Girls...Girls...Girls

The fun thing about having a girl is you get to paint toe nails (Jaycee looks at our toes and says "cute toes"), get to do fun hair styles (cutegirlshairstyles.com), make fun bows to match outfits, go shopping for outfits, and most of all they will take after their own mom one day :)

That website I mentioned above is AWESOME! I found this hair style on it a couple weeks ago. Jaycee's hair is pretty short so I can't do a lot of things, but it's fun to find ideas. I decided this is the final hair do for her pictures. I even made the flower yesterday to add to it. I'm so excited! I love my Jaycee!

Love This Girl

Lately Jaycee has been quite the character. It's so fun to see her little personality develop.

Whenever I get my camera out to take pictures of something she'll insist on taking a picture of her. She even says "cheese" and gives her cutest little smile. Well since she likes them taken, she also likes to take them. So I let her take a picture of me the other day. Not bad for a 2 year old!

Every year Craig and I trade off on Valentine's Day and Anniversary. This year it was his turn for V-Day. He had woken up early and made homemade donut holes and a fruit smoothie. It was so cute and thoughtful. I guess he was planning on breakfast in bed but Jaycee woke up super early and ruined the surprise. It was cute though to see them making breakfast together. As I was drinking my smoothie Jaycee wanted some too and thought it'd be funny to drink it with me. She's so silly. It was a great Valentine's day!

The other night we were watching "24" on the couch and Jaycee had got out all her toys to play. In her bucket were 2 hats from Aunt Sheri's Halloween party a couple years back. She was being so funny and putting her hat and glasses on. I had to take a picture. And of course...she said "Cheese"

I was taking pictures for my BloomCreation website and while the camera was out she quickly realized what I was doing. So here's another smile for the camera.

Jaycee turns 2 on March 3 and we're going to JC Penny or Target to get her pictures done. I picked out the perfect outfit and now just practicing her hair. What do you think? I was going to do a braid in front but her hair wouldn't stay tight for it. I'm going to add a flower with feathers in it.

Jaycee loves her Izzy dog. She makes her laugh so much. It's pretty funny because Jaycee knows her commands and Izzy actually listens. My favorite is when Jaycee says "silly dog"

Have I told you how much I love Netflix? I LOVE NETFLIX! For $10 a month I get to watch so many shows and movies. That beats $60 in cable! So on their "instant" they have Grey's Anatomy now. I've already finished Season 1 and half of Season 2. Love it! I guess it's my guilty pleasure for the time being...

Beautiful Maine

Yesterday we had snow ALL DAY LONG! We shoveled 4 times and probably got a good foot of snow. I've never seen so much snow except way back when we'd go to Winter Camp in the mountains. Today the weather decided to be sunshine and a wonderful 21 degrees. It's absolutely beautiful. Here are some pics of our house from all the snow.

Our side yard. There's a deck under there somewhere...

Some cool icicles forming all weird shaped of the side of our house

When I got my camera out to take the pics Jaycee insisted on taking a picture of her. She now knows how to say "Cheese" and smile for pictures. How can you not love this little girl?
Morning hair and all!
