new house! This is gonna be embarrassing, so please keep in mind we've been in for about 3 days and it's still a mess. Everyone keeps asking what it looks like! Here you go...

Random...

Jaycee at the pool in our hotel that we lived in for 5 days! She loves swimming.

This is a funny story...k, so our box spring won't fit up the stairs in our new house, so craig has to cut them. In the meantime, our mattress is on the floor. I was downstairs mopping the floor and heard Jaycee go upstairs. About 30 minutes later it got really quiet. I went upstairs and found her on our bed asleep. I laughed.

For Aimee...yes you are reading it right! $433 spent at Wal-Mart! That's what we get for not buying groceries for 2 months before the move and giving away everything the packers wouldn't pack.

That's one long receipt.

Park Time

We could barely fit in the tunnel thing so we had to duck. There was 2 big bumps in the slide, and the 2nd one threw us off.

The bump threw us off the slide. That was fun, let's go again!

Jaycee in the tunnel.

Right by our house is a big park that we play at. This is Jaycee's first time at the park and going down a slide by herself! She's so fun!

So much to do!

Well our internet at the moment is working on getting hooked up. Hopefully tonight Craig can do it. We are all moved in and boy is there stuff everywhere! It only took the movers 4 hours to move in all the boxes, set up beds, and table. I finally got the kitchen and bathroom done and in order. The previous tenant never mopped the floor I swear cuz I spent 2 hours scrubbing it! My arms are sore today. Other than that, it's coming along!
We did our big shopping at Wal-Mart last night. It was $433!!!! I couldn't believe it, but we did buy a lot of stuff. We bought a rug, totes, diapers, wireless router, groceries, cleaning supplies, towels, and just a bunch of other stuff we needed. The worst thing is that when we went to buy the stuff our credit card declined! Frustrating! America First is driving me nuts! It's cuz they thought someone had our card and spending $ in Maine when we live in Ogden. We even called and told them about our move to Maine! We'll be switching that soon!
Well gotta get back to cleaning. I'll post pics of the house once I get it straightened up. Love you all!

DAY SIX---PITTSFIELD, MAINE!!

We're here! Good People, Good Town, Good Schools! yay!

The ocean right beside the freeway

The ocean again

Pics taken from the freeway in Maine

Portland, Maine

This is the state line on Maine and NH. The
bridge was sweet.

This is the bridge. We were so excited!

Our new home! We're here! On Friday, we decided to sleep in since we were trying to catch up on sleep. It was only a 3 hour drive from Dathan & Kel's apartment (our hotel was right newt door). The tolls between was $6 but I'm sure there might be a way around them. I don't think it's too bad. We stopped for lunch in Freeport, which is a cute little town. I'll have to take ppl to visit there when they come out. It has a bunch of outlet stores too! So exciting!

DAY FIVE---CHELMSFORD, MASSACHUSETTS

It was rainy in when I took this! Brrr...

Izzy passed out in the truck

Palmyra, New York LDS Temple

We were driving down Temple Street headed towards the Sacred Grove site. Then all of-a-sudden there was a temple street...weird! So here it is! We also drove to the Hill Camorah. It wasn't very far at all. That means Joseph was didn't have to walk very far.

The Sacred Grove

In the Sacred Grove

A path in the Sacred Grove

The path going into the Sacred Grove

Joseph Smith's house from the back view. They had 6 boys, 2 girls all upstairs, and then Lucy and Joseph were downstairs with an addition to the house for baby Lucy. And we complain now days that 2400 square isn't big enough for a family of 4!!!

Jaycee in the Sacred Grove. She told us she liked it here.

This is the Smith's new house they moved into. It's a little bigger but still. We have it good now days. It was really cool to see where Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and where he hid the plates for mobs. It's also nice to put a place to all the stories.

This is Jaycee standing upstairs in the Smith home. This is where Joseph was visited by Angel Moroni. 6 boys shared 2 full beds! Wow!

We had a rough start with Izzy, but the plan was to go to Palmyra bright and early. We actually ended up there at 10 am. It was sooooo awesome!
