Step Two of owning our new home---Inspection Completed!!!
Today was the inspection. Our agent went for us since obviously we couldn't. There were just a few things like: a little bit of moss on the roof that needs sprayed off; the furnace will need to be serviced next year sometime; there was some wood down in the crawl space that needs to be brought up. That was pretty much all. I'm glad we decided to get an inspection for the piece of mind that it's a good home. Tomorrow we'll get a full report of it all along with info on home maintenance. Then we sign the paper and call our loan agent and get the appraisle ordered. Things are coming along. We're still shooting for April 30 as our close date! Yay!!!
Hooray for steps 1 and 2 being done. Seems like those were prob the hardest and I'm so happy it has turned out good. Are those things listed, things yall are having the homeowner take care of? All in all, those arent that bad of things compared to what could have been wrong. It was def a great and really smart idea to have the inspection done. It really does give peace of mind. Glad it went well. Onto those last steps till yall are back closer to everyone!!!
